In mathematics, iterated function systems (IFSs) are a method of constructing fractals, the resulting fractals are often self-similar. IFS fractals are more related to set theory than fractal geometry.

The IFS is defined by a Rule-Set which are chosen randomly according to their weight, all weights have to add up to 1. The Ruleset is defined by a Transformation-Matrix and a Translation and also a weight.
